چکیده

Arthroscopic partial meniscectomy (APM) strives to preserve knee biomechanics and function after the meniscal rupture. However, patients undergoing APM experience long-term impacts like proprioceptive deficit functional decline. This study aimed examine compare effects of aquatic leg cycling trainings on young athletes undergone APM. Ninety-seven male with were assigned training group (ATG, n = 49) (CTG, 48). Both intervention conducted three times a week for 6 weeks 2 The rehabilitation was same in each session. International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) questionnaire scores, joint position sense, Y-balance test, isokinetic strength measured before interventions. Significant improvements observed regarding variables both ATG CTG groups. Comparison two groups found that had higher scores IKDC greater muscle power, lower absolute error sense test compared group. are thus considered effective interventions early phase following Moreover, may be more conducive than improving subjective symptoms, proprioception, power.

Arthroscopic partial lateral meniscectomy long-term results in athletes.

This is a retrospective case-control study of arthroscopic partial meniscectomy for isolated lesions of the lateral meniscus, performed between 1990 and 1995. Thirty-one knees were evaluated after an average follow-up of 8 years: 48.4% had excellent/good IKDC-scores and 64.5% excellent/good Lysholm scores. The Tegner activity score dropped from 7.2 (competitive sports) to 5.7 (recreational spor...

Relationship between Training-Induced Changes in the Star Excursion Balance Test and the Y Balance Test in Young Male Athletes

Background. Dynamic balance is often assessed in athletes using either the Star Excursion Balance Test (SEBT) or the Y Balance Test (YBT). There is evidence that the results for the three common directions are not comparable. Thus, the question is open to debate as to which instrument is better suited to measure training-induced changes over time. Objectives. The aim of this study is to compar...
